From conceptualization to production to marketing - women leading the way
The women in the villages have been formed into the concept of Community Owned Business. From conceptualization, to production, to marketing, we help them take ownership of the business and run it to generate income for their groups and each individually.
Started by the women of one of our villages, this unit is now functional and yielding regular income. Our Groups coordinator worked with tribal ladies to discover their potential and help them create sustainable income sources through mushroom cultivation.
A small vermicompost setup helps create organic compost, now a saleable product contributing income to the group. This eco-friendly initiative supports sustainable agriculture while generating revenue.
Microgreens are produced in villages with yields that combat local anemia and malnutrition problems. They serve as both a source of nutrition for the community and income for the groups.
3 villages engaged in producing handmade herbal sanitary napkins with herbal powder that can reduce PCOD symptoms and enable fertility. Made of cotton, they're healthy and environmentally friendly by being biodegradable.
More than 50 native herbs are collected and processed by our village women trained in herbs collection, processing, packaging, and sales.
Expert Consultation: We work with Ayurvedic and Siddha specialists as consultants to derive the best results for herb combinations and develop different herbal products beneficial for health and environment. Research and concept development is ongoing to evolve this into a strong business strategy for community economic development.

Beauty therapy students get practical experience serving clients from neighboring areas, students, and staff. Upon graduation, they're ready to start parlours at home or provide mobile services.
"Bringing Wealth out of Waste"
Run by tailoring students with trainer Mrs. Bhuvana and mentor from Vivanta Chennai. Students create designer ready-made blouses, beautiful gowns, and salwars from used silk sarees and other materials.
Impact: This concept has triggered significant interest, and alumni have formed a group to participate in this sustainable fashion venture.
